Lock-up is solid and both hammers match. When the hammers are pulled back and lock the flat triggers drop down readt to fire. The French walnut fluted grips are very fine with original finish. Overall a very clean original 1840 to 1860 pocket pistol of very fine quality. When buying a gun always have it examined by a competent gunsmith before shooting.
