This is a customized 1922 Springfield M2. Sporterizing the 1922 M2 training rifles has always been a popular endeavor; mostly because the trainers were so accurate and the actions are butter smooth. The gun is by no means perfect and I have priced it accordingly. The trigger guard area shows a small amount of light pitting that appears to have been treated and inadequately polished out before it was blued. The trigger guard bow has a small rub mark. I have included pics for you. The metal is pretty good, but there are a few random light scratches that do not photograph well. Nonetheless, this is a pretty darn nice rifle as is.
