SALE PENDING on this Marlin Model 90 O/U shotgun in 20 guage with a single trigger and 28" factory Vent Rib barrel. This is a Proto-Type Shotgun from the New Haven ,Conn ,USA Marlin Factory which was given to a employee who worked there during the 1960's and 70's. This firearm has been in my customers family for the past 50 plus years. When Marlin was developing the Model 90 particularly the single trigger and vent rib design this was one of the shotguns that was manufactured as a Proto-Type for that design. This firearm has no markings on it or a serial number. The blue is about excellent condition rated at 90% or better. The wood is also about excellent rated at 94% with a few minor handling marks. The wood has factory cut checkering and a Malin Logo recoil pad. The Marlin Bullseye is intact in the bottom edge of the rear stock. The bore is very shiny and clean and lock up is tight. There is no play in the action when open and the lever sits slightly to the right.Both chokes appear to be in the full range.If you are a Marlin Collector this would be a historical firearm and a welcome addition to your collection. A notorized letter of provenance can be supplied by the the family who owns this firearm as to its origin. I will ship this firearm to a FFL within the continental US including AK and HI which require extra postage as does CA. The remainder of the lower Us will pay $50.00 shipping/Ins.
