Marlin Model 25 slide action .22. This gun is in VERY FINE condition. I hesitate to call it 'investment grade' because I know the bar is so high - but it's one of the nicest slide actions in my collection. This gun is functioning properly and an excellent shooter. The bore is bright and shiny There are no cracks or pins in the wood and the stock is tight as a drum. There are a few scratches and dings in the wood but I'd rate the stock in very good + condition. The gun is all original as far as I can tell. There's a good amount of bluing left on the receiver and the barrel. These slide actions are getting tough to find and understandably so.....they're very well built and about as much fun to shoot as anything. My dated gun value book has a 100% at $1500, 95% at $1200, and 90% at $1000. This gun may not be quite in that condition so I've priced it at $800. C&R eligible. Shipping is $50
