Built in 1909,this gun has 26" damascus barrels choked cylinder and improved cylinder (.005"). The barrels are in great conditon with excellent wall thickness and perfect bores. The barrels measure .070" in front of the chambers with a minimum wall thickness of .035" at the muzzle, so this gun is safe to shoot with reasonable loads. The receiver retains around 40% of the original case colors and the barrels retain 90% of the damascus pattern. The stock is sound with no cracks or damage. The stock and forend retain at least 80% of the original finish. The stock has a 131/2" LOP over a factory buttplate and it appears to be the original length. The gun weighs 6-8 and handles very quick. This is a great grouse,woodcock, or quail gun. O grade guns like this are scarce with ejectors. A classic upland bird gun. C&R eligible.
