Payment Types Accepted: personal check, money order, cashiers check Description: Winchester Model 50 Trap grade with beautiful, highly figured matching wood (The Trap Grade was an upgraded model). Monte carlo stock with raised cheekpiece. Fine checkering. 12 gauge 2 3/4 inch chamber choked Full. Steel receiver. 29 inch barrel with rib. Serial #102XXX. This gun was made in 1958 and I'm not sure it's ever been shot. The bore and wood are mint. I bought it at a gun show several years ago from the nephew of the original owner. (the nephew inherited it) The nephew told me he could remember this gun sitting around untouched/unshot for 50 years at his Uncles house throuhgout his lifetime....and I believe him. I have a real tough time finding a ding or a scratch on either the stock or the fore-end. (a few TINY dings barely noticeable) The butt pad is a completely original Winchester pad and is marked as such. The only apologies are some bluing seems to be lost on the left side of the receiver (a little splotchy) and on a 1 inch spot on the upper/center of the right receiver. (see pics plz - more pics on request) The bluing on the barrel is 98%+. (it might be 100%) The Model 50 was made and marketed in the '50's by Winchester for the 'recoil sensitive'. It's a recoil-operated 3 shot semi-automatic. The book says there were 196,000 Model 50's made/sold....but they're so uncommon....especially in upgraded models....that I'm not sure I believe that number! I hesitate to call any gun 'investment grade' because I know that bar is so high....but you'd have a tough time finding this gun, in this shape, for such reasonable money. All fair and reasonable offers considered. $895. Ships to FFL. C&R eligible. Shipping $35. Let me know of questions.
