Description:
This Type 2 Early Model 3, Batch # 842 Still holds populatity. The patented articulating firing pin enabled the shooter to simply engage the hammer for the 2nd shot. 20 rounds of 41 short included Barrels retain 75% or origonal Fire Bluing, hinge is still tight, slide extractor and thumb barrel latch are bright fire blue showing little use. Lands & grooves and bright and sharp with no pitting evident. Barrel rib "REMINGTON ARMS CO. ILLION, N.Y." , bright and clear. Frame retains 10% of it's bluing, Hammer is bright, sharp fire blu as is the trigger. Grips show no marks on the fine point checkering and no cracks or chips are evident. From 1866 to 1935 this derringer was a mainstay in America.
