Description:
This is an excellent example of a WWII production rifle as manufactured by the Remington Arms Company. The top of the receiver is marked "U.S./REMINGTON/MODEL 03-A3" over the serial number (highlighted in white) and the barrel is marked "RA/flaming bomb/9-43" . The rifle has the correct barrel bands, trigger guard and follower. It has the military style rear sight and high blade front sight. The stock and handguard are both walnut. Steel buttplate with cleaning rod compartment. Complete with a brown leather military sling. S/N: 4093103
