Smith & Wesson Old Army #2 Civil War revolver. 32 caliber. 6 inch barrel. Serial #25xxx puts it well within Civil War date production of roughly 1863-64. These were built from 1861-1874 with a total production of 77,000. These guns can be tough to find in such great condition within Civil War date production range. Beautiful dark rosewood grips in very fine condition with 75%+ original varnish intact. No cracks or repairs. 60-70% + blue across barrel and frame. Action works properly in all positions. Slight wiggle at hinge pin which is common on these models. Custer and Wild Bill Hickok both carried the S&W Army #2. Excellent value at $1,300. Antique ships direct to you.
