Smith & Wesson 1st Model 2nd issue Civil War revolver. 22 caliber. Serial# 83xxx which probably put its production in the late years of the war. (1864-1865) Beautiful ivory grips in excellent condition. A very large percentage (90%+) of the original silver plating is still present and is starting to tone into beautiful rainbow toning on both sides. The pictures don’t do it justice. Gun is tight and works in all positions. This is probably my finest 1st Model 2nd issue. Reasonably priced at $1,200. Antique ships direct to you. No FFL needed. $25 shipping.
