Description:
This is a pre-64 Winchester 308 Barreled Action in a post 64 stock. As you may be aware Model 100 stocks are fragile and prone to cracking with abuse. The Post 64 stock replaced a broken pre-64 stock. The stock has very nice fiddleback grain and marking and is in excellent condition including the basket weave checkering. The Bluing is excellent except for some marking around the trigger guard and lower part of the action. The sights are intact and correct and the original sling swivel loops are correct.
