All numbers match, the barrel has its number under the ejector. Mechanical function is fine and the 4 clicks are crisp. Bore shows good lands and light even rust but no heavy pitting. Grips show minor age shrinkage but no cracks or heavy gouges. Screws are in nice shape. Some moderate pitting on very outside of ejector housing, but the housing fits perfectly and does not detract from appearance. Overall smooth appearance and no dings or gouges or scratches in the metal except from minor marks on the butt, pictured. Comes with a letter from Colt which tells that the gun was shipped with a large number of single actions to Schuyler, Hartley & Graham in mid-1874, maybe the first batch of civilians to be shipped to SH&G? I'll be glad to answer questions. Single actions in second year of production are rare, and this is a really good one. Even though this is an antique, I'll need a copy of your C&R license or dealer's FFL. Payment by money order, cashier's check, or personal check held for clearance. Returns accepted if gun is returned in same condition as shipped. PURCHASE PENDING SOLD Antique: Yes |
