***SOLD*** Marlin Model 39A .22LR/L/S lever action rifle, 3rd Model, dated to 1954, with a "L" prefix serial number. This rifle features the iconic Marlin 39A lever action mechanism, walnut furniture, and a rich blued finish on the frame, barrel and magazine tube. The rifle is not fitted with the modern cross-block safety, only a half cock notch that may double as a safety mechanism. The rifle is in great overall condition, with much of finish intact, rich bluing, and nice furniture, with only minor/normal wear in areas, as shown. The action is smooth and the bore is excellent.
