Description:
This Mauser Model 66S is an ingenious bolt action rifle chambered in .30-06 Springfield. The bolt telescopes reducing the overall length, with a 24" barrel it only measures just under 41" in overall length. Barrel can be interchanged easily with different calibers of same bolt face diameter. Bolt face diameter is 12.2 mm allowing Mauser 66 barrels chambered in 5.6x57mm, .243 Winchester, 6.5x57mm, .270 Winchester, 7x64mm Brenneke, .308 Winchester, .30-06 Springfield, and 9.3x62mm to be used. Wood and metal are in exceptional shape. Buttpad is Pachmayr White Line .30-06 Springfield
