Description:
This beautiful S04 sidelock from 1978 is very versatile featuring great dimensions and Briley thinwall interchangable choke tubes. I have shot it at sporting clays, bunker, live bird, American trap as well as, using its mate as a composed pair, for driven pheasant. At just about 8 pounds (7 pounds 15 oz) and with the ISIS recoil reduction pad installed by Rich Cole, it is a pleasure to handle and shoot. very dynamic- Rich went through the action (stock off) and everything in 2016. It is on face and tight. locks have been cleaned and lubed. SN A04390B.
Condition is excellent with 97% metal and wood. Great trigger pulls - 5 choke tubes- LOP = 14 3/4", DAC = 1 1/2", DAH = 2", right hand palm swell - barrel weight = 1.55kg. Of course it is hand engraved in the tasteful S04 pattern and this is the best example I have ever seen (they are all slightly different given who engraved it at the time). Beretta made SO guns in their seperate premium gun facility with their master craftsmen only working on them then. The top vent rib is hand-matted to prevent glare and the trigger features a hand-checkered surface for your trigger finger.
A great price on a very nice classy hand engraved sidelock gun that always turn heads. This is the best price by far I've ever seen on an SO4 in this condition.
