Winchester Model 1873 Sporting Rifle .32 WCF s/n 580084B mfg 1904
24" Octagon barrel; full magazine; Sporting front and rear sites with a Lyman tang site; American walnut varnish finish forearm and stock with rifle buttplate. Condition is near new in all respects and retains all of the original blued and color case hardened finishes from an old but very professionally done restoration. Straight-grain American stocks retain nearly all of their high gloss varinish finish. Includes a Winchester factory research sheet from the Cody Firearms Museum verifying all aspects of the rifle except for the period correct Lyman tang site currently installed in the original threaded factory mounting holes, most likely added back when the gun was in use. An absolutely beautiful collectors Winchester with a suberb restoration in which only and experienced trained eye can discern from the original factory work.
