Another gun I am selling from my collection. A very nice antique Colt Frontier Six Shooter 44-40 caliber. It is an excellent example with very crisp markings. The action is excellent mechanically and it has a very nice bore. This gun was used but well taken care of. Not much blue remaining except in protected areas and has a nice period patina overall. This gun has not been messed with or cleaned like so many Single Action Colts. It is 100% original. The grips are in excellent condition and not worn like many seen on old Colts. Just a nice example of an antique Colt that has a lot of history. Matching numbers on frame and triggerguard. Cylinder unnumbered which is correct for this serial number. This gun was made in 1896 as so is a scarcer transitional model from the black powder to the smokeless era. It would make a great period shooter as well with black powder or equivalent smokeless loads. Antique so no FFL required. Thanks for looking. Shipping is $30.
