Description:
This is still a nice old gun from circa 1919. 22" barrel that still wears its Savage branded rear sight. The forearm serial number matches the gun but I did not take off the butt plate to check it. Metal to wood fit is right and tight. I do not think the barrel has been taken off in the last many decades..........if ever. The last picture will show a hairline crack coming down from the backside of the receiver.
