This is probobly the finest Ruger 10-22 rifle that you have laid your eyes on. . .
I had this stock custom made by a famous stock maker in Texas some years ago. The blank that I picked out was exhibition walnut and the stockmaker took it from there. As you guys know, the secret to making a full length stock shoot straight is in the barrel / stock tolerences all the way to the end of the barrel. I guess that is why Mr. Mannlicher put his name on it.
Not only is the wood fit perfect, also the hand checkering is perfect. My man was actually able to reuse the original Ruger butt pad as well.
Other than that the gun is a standard Ruger 10-22
