Description:
An interesting 19th century .36 cal rifle with a lock-plate named Centinnel as far as I can make it out, with an octagonal barrel of 38"long and the flats across the muzzle measure about .88", with a decent bore as far as I can see down into the muzzle.With a set trigger this has one cock , no safety cock , usually found on set trigger 19th century rifles . Action works good and the mottled, birdseye maple stock is very good, showing smooth wear, raised cheek piece on the left side, but no issues, other than a upper dege repair along the edge meeting the barrel on the left side. Furniture is aged brass and the nose cap is pewter. Comes with a thin hardwood ram-rod and a brass tip. Overall a very nice 19th century percussion .36 cal.rifle
