Description:
Ithaca Flues Grade 2E 12 gauge. This old girl was destined for the parts bin when I spotted her. But something in me just couldn't let that happen. So now she is fully restored with rust blued barrels, bone charcoal case colors, hot blued furniture and hand rubbed oil stocks. Acraglass repairs to cracks and chips in stock are now stronger than new wood. Some portions of the finer engraving are lite or absent due to wear and polishing. Some pin prick pits remain under new colors and bluing, but will only be noticed on very close examination. 30" barrels choked about M/F, 2 3/4" chambers, 14 1/4" LOP, fluid steel barrels, new sighting bead, manual non-automatic safety, and shiny bores in great shape. Weight is 7.5 lbs. Rosewood forend tip inlay. Barrels ring nicely. Beautiful figure in buttstock. This gun is a shooter, not a collector. The perfect vintage double ejector gun to take afield on rainy, brushy hunts without guilt. Lock up is solid and ejectors are strong. The pics will tell the rest of the story. Because this gun is a price point shooter, it is being sold "As Is", no returns accepted. $50 insured priority mail to your FFL or C&R. Feel free to ask any questions. The listing price might almost cover the repair and restoration work, so the gun itself is essentially being thrown in for free.
