Description:
Absolutely drop dead gorgeous little 410ga made with 26" Krupp Steel barrels, semi-beavertail forend with fully engraved latch, double triggers, ball grip butt stock with the truly stunning European Walnut checkered in original D Grade Fox pattern and finely finished skeleton steel buttplate which is fully engraved en suite. Engraved by the master, and most desireable of the CSMC makers, Richard Roy in fabulous vine scroll pattern with rabbits on sides in panels and large relief engraved beagle on the bottom of the frame- Exceptionally well done! Scalloped action, gold plated double triggers, and "SAFE" in gold on top tang. Housed in a fully leather case with accessories with proper leather trade label.
Overall the gun remains in "test fired only" condition with virtually all finish remaining on both wood and metal save for a couple of tiny handling marks. Breechface with ejector scrapings but no shell markings appearing present. The case is near mint with only minor scuffs.
Most of the CSMC DE Grades were "DE Specials". Very few DE's actually conform to the grade and this is one of just a couple of these true DE 410ga's CSM has made.
