Description:
Extremely rare field grade L.C.Smith Hunter Arms 410 with a factory straight grip stock. Built in 1937,this gun has 26" armor steel barrels choked modified (.016") and full (.025") with 3" chambers. It has double triggers,and extractors. The gun is in excellent all original condition retaining around 60% of the original case color, 98% of the original barrel blue,and 95% of the original wood finish. The bores are mint and bright. The stock is sound with no cracks or damage other than a few very light handling marks. The barrels lock up tightly on face with no play. The top lever is to the right indicating light usage. Field grade Smiths with straight grips are very rare. This is only the 2nd one I have seen in 45 years in collecting quality shotguns. C&R eligible.
