Up for sale is a Winchester 1873. This rifle is chambered in 22 Short and sports a 24-inch Octagon barrel. The bore is dark I would rate it a 5 on a scale of 10 lands and groves are visible. It may clean up a bit. This is honest wear on this beautiful Winchester. There is a special-order front sight on this rifle. The dust cover is loose, this is a common occurrence on the 1873’s. The stock is free of any major damage. The roll marks are crisp and clear. The Bluing has turned Plum.
