standard model,with 1858 pat date,,, 31 caliber ,,,,ex bore 5 3/4 inch barrel . metal has grey metal patina except for most of the original blue on cylinder and hammer,,,,,,,, minor area of salt and pepper pitting on barrel gun looks all original and vg original condition ,, serial #744 cylinder rotates but a little out of time on some cylinders , screws and nipples look good , if you take cylinder out the cylinder rotating bar should be in 3 oclock position for putting in and taking out of cylinder it is visable on edge of cylinder if you look hard,, this is a nice clean gun with normal wear very sharp engraving on cylinder
