<<<<SOLD>>>> A great shooter this cpmposite rifle made in the 1950~1960's when Numrich arms made .45 percussion barrels in theormachine shop and sold them for shooters to make thier own custom rifle. This fine gun has an about new 38" .45 cal rifled barrel with a super clean rifled bore. The exterior metal has an arsenal blue, amd the lock which works well is for an 1873 Trapdoor, working well, The front nose cap/band is solid brass like the early U.S, muskets. Comes with a stong leather sling.. The stock appears to be a trapdoor walnut Springfield stock with field handloimng digs an a full,length cartouche' of 1889! Comes with a Enfiled type cleaning rod/ram-rod. Overall would make a great shooter, givimng many years service. When buying a gun always have it examined by a competent gunsmith before shooting.
