Beautiful Browning Grade III Transition Auto 22 MFG 1978 .22 LR WBox, 19.25" bbl, bright shiny bore, good rifling, blued finish, adjustable notch rear sight, brass bead front sight, exceptionally beautiful etched receiver and checkered hardwood grip stock - forearm, light handling marks, and metal butt plate. Beginning 1974 Browning shifted it's manufacturingfrom Belgium to Japan which took several years. During this time some Grade III guns stamped "Made In Japan" on the barrel had Belgium engraved receivers signed by M Magis with serial numbers for 1975, 1976, 1977, and 1978. This is one of the transition guns signed by M Magis with the original box and manual. GREAT rifle for your collection!
