Description:
Davide Pedersoli 20ga double barrel muzzleloading shotgun. Probably one of the finest, high grade modern muzzleloading shotguns ever produced. Purchased right out of The Pedersoli Showroom in Gardone, Italy. This shotgun was displayed at the Russian Muzzleloading Exposition. The barrels are 27 1/2" cylinder bore with beautiful gold florial inlays around the patent breech. Barrels are browned and sealed with a pleasant gloss, The locks are hand engraved with gold damascene inlays and ricocco bordering. Stylized eagles with a gold shield and banner over crossed arms graces both lock plates. Engraved flowers are hand chieseled and cover the rear ends of the lockplates. The breech tang has a hand engraved flower and beautiful, finely chiseled roccoco florial decoration. The trigger guard, ramrod entry thimble and butt plate are all decorated with finely chieseled scrolled figures. The ramrod is ebony with a brass trumpet end and brass threaded end to accept various cleaning patch holders and brushes. The european walnut stock is a gorgeous select XXX piece of wood, checkered both at the wrist and forend. This gun is new and unfired !
