Description:
This bayonet measures 20 3/4" overall with an 18 1/4" angular blade having hollow ground back flutes. The metal has an overall bright patina, with spots of thin freckling throughout, heaviest on the socket, which has a single spot of dark oxidation just ahead of the mortise. These are very well-made bayonets, and this example rates fine condition overall.
