Description:
This is a full (20 rounds), 2 piece, buff box Winchester Box of .32-40 with the green label and “7-9" date code with call outs for Winchester, Marlin and Ballard Rifles with 165 Grain grooved bullets and 40 grains of powder. Not listed in Giles and Shuey's book this is a late loading with this label configuration. The box is in very good condition with top and side labels intact except for small missing pieces with a nice wood cut of the cartridge having light soiling and split seam on the top. The cartridges are in near excellent condition with “W.R.A. Co. .32-40" head stamp.
