Description:
Very nice Model 1886 rifle features 26 inch round barrel chambered in the desirable 45-70 WCF caliber. Full length mag tube and barrel have most all of the original blue present with sharp markings. Original sights include a German silver blade front and a folding ladder rear. Very bright shiny bore. Crisp action. Strong case colors remain on the receiver as well as the hammer, lever and forend cap. Wood is in good condition with a little extra figure to it. Good traces of original varnish remain. Crescent rifle style buttplate. This beautiful Winchester was made in 1900 and still looks good today!
