Description:
About 30 or 35 years ago, you could contact Ruger and get a shipping box, to return your old style revolver to Ruger. The factory would then upgrade your gun to the newer, transfer bar type operation. This applied to the 1973 and earlier Bearcat, Single Six, Blackhawk, and Super Blackhawk models.
I ordered 2 boxes for the revolvers I had, but both revolvers were sold before the Ruger boxes arrived. This box is sized for the Bearcat or Single Six.
This box is in nearly perfect condition, [ one very minor dimple on the front cover] and includes several instruction sheets on the conversion, and the outside shipping carton. There has never been a gun inside this box. It is 13" long.
