Tokyo Arsenal, 1902, Grandpa Nambu, Thai, with original stock.

Condition:
Pistol in near excellent original condition with insertional stock wear as pictured and slight frosting of grip straps. Comparable condition strawed parts. Oil soaked grips, the left panel having a horizontal indentation over the magazine release button as pictured. Comparable condition magazine. Bright bore with sharp rifling. Perfect manual mechanics. Shoulder stock in similar condition, the wood body with two small cracks near the collar and a small internal loss adjacent to the cleaning rod shaft, exposing the hinge screw and its escutcheon. The rust blue fittings have been touched up, the number “4” on the lanyard loop fixture restruck, and the lid retaining catch with a different internal number. Manual function concerning the lid latching and neck extension/retraction/retention is perfect. The stock fits the pistol with minimal wobble. A great looking ensemble for the advanced collector of early automatic pistols or iconic Japanese weapons.
