Thompson Center Arms Co - Location: Springfield, Massachusetts
Thompson/Center Arms Co. was founded in Rochester, New York in 1965 by K.W. Thompson and Warren Center. Company's first gun was a break-open, single-shot pistol, known as Contender. More than 400,000 were produced between 1967 and 2000, when the original model was discontinued. In 2007, Thompson/Center became a division of Smith & Wesson and production was moved to Springfield, Massachusetts.

Features a 14 bull barrel. Furnished with adjustable rear sight and ramp front. Drilled and tapped for scope mounts, both barrels come with scopes (one from Leupold and the other from Thompson Center - RP 2.5x20) . Competitor wood AND rubber grips offered. Available in blued steel finish. Furnished calibers are: .223 Rem. AND .30-30. Weight about 56 oz.This also comes with the case pictured. The .223 has been fired within the last month and there was no problems experienced. This came from a family member's collection.
