Description:
J. Stevens founded in 1864 in Chicopee Falls, Massachuesettes, and in 1889 was changed to J. Stevens Arms & Tool Co. Wood is good with a hairline crack on right side above barrel. Metal has patinaed with age and shows some light oxidation. Bore is lightly pitted with rifling still visible. Complete with folding globe front sight and folding rear tang sight! Very interesting old gun!
