Six-shot pepperbox with 4"" barrel. Flutes are lightly marked ""Allen & Thurber Co. Worcester Patented 1845"". Barrel has approximately 95% original blue. Nipple shield has light floral scroll engraving. Barrel grouping is 176. The frame has deeper chiseled engraving than the nipple shield. Action works properly. Grips are excellent with original varnish. A fine example of an Allen & Thurber pepperbox.
