Colt 1849 Pocket .31 Caliber Revolver With Iron Backstrap and Trigger Guard. 4" Barrel. Front sight is very nice dovetail and blade. All numbers are matching. Cylinder scene is perfect, 100% clear and visible. Very good plus overall condition. Finish is blue with some light patina but mostly blue appearance. Screws are all perfect. Grips are very good plus with 96-97% original varnish. No chips or cracks. Iron backstrap and trigger guard 1849’s are found occasionally in our experience but they are somewhat scarce. This is one of the best we have owned! Note: This is a two line New Your address’49. This is not a London 49!
