Description:
A beautiful .270 Super Grade in the highly desirable and scarce transition configuration, being offered at a very reasonable price due to a slight and nearly undetectable reduction in Length of Pull. The LOP is 13 1/2" or possibly a bit under indicating that the stock has been slightly shortened 1/8-3/16". The radius cut is perfect and the steel plate has been refit very nicely. It is unlikely that most buyers would even notice the modification. Nevertheless, it is what it is, so if this is not an issue for you then take advantage of the lowest price you will likely ever see this type gun offered again. S/N 79*** with matching scribed bolt made in 1948. 24" Barrel with an excellent bore. Rare combination of clover leaf tang and "clam shell" or "rabbit's foot" safety. Mechanics are smooth and correct in all regards. All of the correct SG components are present including proper swivels. Great eye appeal.
