The Tales of the Gun was a TV series produced in 1998 and shown for only one year by the History Channel. It was also sold for a time as a 10-dvd disc boxed set. The series was a remarkably comprehensive and authoratative treatment of an exhaustive range of subjects relating to gun types. production and usage. (You can see the listing of the topics in the photos attached to this listing). My online research indicates the complete dvd sets are currently hard to come by. I only found one complete set sold within the past two years and that on a site called "OfferUp" for $200. I could only find one presently offered, (used through Amazon) for $400. Individual disks from the set have been offered periodically and sold on Ebay, but at prices ranging up to $50 each. I am offering the coplete boxed set of this series for $125, a price which includes shipping by USPS media mail package. The set is in excellent condition, with two of the disc cases still sealed in their plastic wrappings.
