Description:
HARD TO FIND S&W MODEL 35-1, 6" BARREL, .22/32 KIT GUN, #104XXX, MADE 1960. These 6" small frame adjustable sighted revolvers were made from 1953-1973. The Model 35-1 transitioned from the smaller "I" frame to the new larger "J" frame the year this one was made in 1960. One of the best and most practical of the Kit Gun line, it is baffling why it was discontinued. They were never made in the numbers of the 2" and 4" Model 34s and were always hard to locate. This one has seen some light use and shows some edge wear at the muzzle, cylinder front edge and has a small spot of wear on the right side frame ahead of the grips probably from a holster strap. Balance of the bright blue is intact- even on the grip straps. Diamond checkered grips are numbered to match. Exc. mech and bore. These don't turn up often.
