EARLY RUGER NEW MODEL SUPER SINGLE SIX .22 LR AND .22 MAGNUM CONVERTIBLE, MADE 1978, NEW IN BOX. This model was introduced in 1973 and has been successful and popular ever since. This 4 5/8" example is in the original box with end label and has the .22 magnum cylinder in the original red bag with cardboard cylinder box. Both cylinders are numbered to the frame. No cylinder drag lines and no blue wear to the front of either cylinder indicate that this revolver was never fired. Hard to find these new in the red box after 43 years!
