Savage model 99F featherweight in 300 Savage. Built in 1960, this rifle is a transition gun that combines older classic features and new features. Features include a 22" light contour barrel,hand checkered walnut stock and forend,factory drilled for scope or tang sight,gold plated trigger and cocking indicator,brass cartridge counter,steel buttplate,case colored lever,factory sling swivels,and factory open sights. This rifle is in outstanding all original condition. It retains 98%+ of the original blue and wood finish. The bore in mint with sharp rifling. The stock is sound with no cracks or damage. The rifle comes with Weaver bases installed. This is a great light weight classic rifle perfect for use in deer stands or shooting boxes. C&R eligible.
