Description:
On the side of the frame is "Manufactured by Mass. Arms Co". On the left side is the Maynard patent dates. This is a saddle ring carbine with a 20" bbl. 50 cal breech loading percussion. You don't see too many quite this nice. Very good metal finish remaining. Still orig case colors on the frame. Nice blue on the bbl. Wood has some dings and scratches and a couple of letters carved into the left side of the stock. Fortunately the cartouche is untouched and very readable. Bore is VG+. A good collectible gun.
