This is an exceptional Colt Single Action Cavalry Revolver, this example has the extremely scarce and desirable Georgia Militia markings on the grip. This Cavalry Revolver was DFC inspected. This is probably the finest Georgia Militia Single Action extant. This Revolver shows approximately 80% blue on the barrel with polishing lines remaining around the front sight. The frame shows approximately 65-70% color case hardened finish. The grip is very fine, with cartouches visible. The trigger guard also shows the correct and original polishing lines present. This is the original finish unlike the refurbished New York Militia revolvers out there. The All matching serial numbers throughout. Mechanically excellent. This is an extremely fine example of the Colt Single Action Army with the scarcer Georgia Militia markings! Serious offers considered! Buyer to pay actual shipping and insurance. Thank you!
