Description:
Johnson Automatic Rifle model 1941 manufactured by the Cranston Arms Co., originally for the Dutch East Indies but most of the rifles ended being used by the U S Marines Paramarine battalions in the Pacific Theatre. These are 10 round semi-auto rifles, chambered for .30-06 and will accept '03 5-round stripper clips. The Marines liked the Johnson rifles but the Army did not and thus the M1 Garrand was the chosen semi-auto duty rifle of WWII.
This rifle is in excellent original condition both cosmetically and mechanically with very strong rifling in the barrel.
Included with this Johnson is an original, very rare, bayonet and scabbard.
