Description:
A very rare L.C.Smith 410 Field grade with a factory straight grip stock. Built in 1937 by Hunter Arms.this gun has 26" barrels choked modified (.015") and full (.025") with 3" chambers. The gun is in excellent all original condition retaining 60% of the original casel colors,98% of the original barrel blue,and 95% of the original wood finish. The stock is sound with no cracks or damage. The bores are mint and free of any rust or dents. Field grade Smiths with straight grip stocks are extremely rare. In 45 years of collecting doubles this is only the 2nd one I have seen. A great handling little gun that would be wicked on upland birds. C&R eligible.
