Description:
50 caliber percussion breech loader. Poultney & Trimble, Smiths patent and Mass. Arms markings are on the left side. On the left side of the wood are two cartouches which are in very good condition as is all markings. A good solid gun. Tight hinge pin. VG+ cond bore. Nice blue except on the end towards the muzzle is some light pitting and roughness. Case colors are still on the frame. Wood is VG overall cond. A nice Civil War carbine.
