ArmaLite AR-17 Golden Gun , super light weight 12 ga [ 2 3/4" chamber ] designed by Eugene Stoner. was ahead of its time with lightweight anodized alumium receiver, and synthetic [ polycarbonate ] stock, and interchangeable chokes. first made approximately 1964 and a total of less than 1200 were made. weighs 5.6 lbs. recoil operated with strong rotary bolt type action. made in Cost Mesa, Ca.
this gun appears unfired. i have had it for years and just displayed it. trying to thin the herd, as i realize i will never use all the guns i have.
