Description:
Colt detective special Fitz configuration. Bobbed Hammer 38 special cal., cutaway trigger guard. This Fitz is in high original finish . The mechanics are (perfect )and it has a very smooth double action pull. Has a minty bore and cylinder, locks up solid and is a excellent shooter . It appears to have not been shot much at all. The grips are original and nice.the hammer is finely checkered on the top letting you cock it single action with your thumb. The word on the butt( LINC) I have no information on it at all. I have owned two Colt factory made detective Fitzs like this one in the past that sold for twice what I want for this one..this piece does have a( vp )stamped upside down in the crane by the serial number. The skill of the gun smith who built this one is is top notch the nicest i've had.. This piece comes with a Colt Factory letter . Maybe Abercrombie and Fitch Made it??
