Description:
This is an early production Detonics Combatmaster with a four digit serial number below 2500. The left side of the slide is marked Detonics .45 "Pat. Pend." and the right side of the frame is marked Detonics Assocs. Seattle, WA., and the serial number. The slide has horizontal tooling marks, and the front sight is a separate piece held on to the slide by an allen screw. The action on this pistol is rough, with the slide catching on the rear of the Detonics marked magazine. This is definitely a piece for the advanced Detonics collector. .45 Auto
